Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's combat sport journey began at 14 years old. After training in kickboxing boxing wrestling BJJ and BJJ she had her first professional fight against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she turned 18. Ladd continued to build on her win in Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won three consecutive fights. She finished all of her opponents within the first round. In WCFC, Ladd defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous vote. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian as well as Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia beat Aspen to defeat her in an unanimous decision. This put the mark of a loss on Aspen's records as an amateur. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff, and increased her amateur record from 8-1 to 8-1. Aspen signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to start her journey as a professional. The InvictaFC11 fight was her debut professional fight. She was a rout of Ana Carolina Vidal, securing an 1st round TKO. She won her next fight with Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission and went up to the weight of bantamweight in her next bout at Invicta FC 16. Aspen utilized her formidable wrestler skills to knock down McGill and then ended the fight with a third round TKO(elbows and punches). Aspen later fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18 at weight of catchweight (138.1lb), as Ladd was unable to reach her weight. Despite this, Aspen was able to beat Hoy. She won via TKO in the second-round. As for her final fight for the promotion, she beat Sijara Eubanks in a unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She was a step ahead of Lina by using the ground and pound strategy and earned a TKO 2nd round win. The next time she fought Tonya EVINGER at UFC 229, her victory was more spectacular. Ladd defeated Evinger within the first minute and earned a reward for the performance of the night. Sijara Eubanks from Invicta FC was her opponent in an rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was her first big fight. The two fighters put on a back-and-forth encounter that ended with Ladd taking a unanimous win and each fighter getting an award known as the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie took 16 seconds to end Ladd and her winning streak. in the 3rd round on UFC on ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. Her most recent bout for the UFC she took on Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 as a replacement fight. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
