Lynda Carter, the American performer and actress, popularly known as Wonder Woman from the television show with the same name in the 1970s. The actress is also a cult icon in pop culture, having been featured in numerous movies and television shows over her entire career. Lynda has, in addition to having a lengthy and profitable acting career, has also produced five network TV specials that have been highly rated. A few of them have been nominated for the Emmy Awards. Her appearances have been with a variety of famous singers around the world, including Ray Charles Tom Jones Kenny Rogers George Benson Ben Vereen. Her father is the owner of an industrial paper mill, and she is born of Italian origin. Laura was born in the town of Denville, New Jersey. She attended Morris Knolls High School and fell in love acting. After her high schooling, Laura enrolled in the CarnegieMellon School of Drama Pittsburgh and graduated with a bachelor's degree in fine art in 1984. Giacomo began her professional career after making the move from Pittsburgh to New York. She began acting in theatre productions, and was praised for her performances.
